

Lisa Rainbow
Lisa Rainbow is an enrolled member of the Spirit Lake Nation. Her father was from Spirit Lake Nation and her mother from the Cheyenne River Reservation. She is the Outreach Coordinator at the Fort Totten State Historic Site where she has been employed for nearly thirteen years. She enjoys the many hats she wears there, from giving tours, planning events, working in the visitor center, to gardening. She finds great importance in telling the story of the of the Indian Boarding School that was once at Fort Totten.
She is the mother to a daughter and a son. In her free time, she likes to do archery, go hiking, camping, kayaking, and snowshoeing. During the past four years she has enjoyed volunteering at White Horse Hill. You can often find her in the visitor center greeting visitors and answering
questions.
